TempSureShip ("the App") is operated by TempSureShip. This policy describes how the App collects, uses, and protects data when installed on a Shopify store.
What the App accesses
TempSureShip accesses shop and order information needed to evaluate shipping risk, including order contents, fulfillment context, and destination shipping data required for weather and transit assessment.
What the App uses data for
The App uses this data to run shipping-risk evaluations, generate recommendations, store evaluation results and audit history, and apply merchant-configured actions such as tags or fulfillment holds.
What the App does not access
The App does not process payment card data. Customer names, emails, and phone numbers are not accessed or stored for evaluation. Evaluation inputs use shipping ZIP/postal code, country, province/state, city, and order line item titles.
Data retention
Evaluation records, audit events, and notifications are retained for the lifetime of the merchant's active subscription. No automatic expiration or pruning is applied during active use.
Deletion on uninstall
On app uninstall, all merchant data is automatically deleted through Shopify's app/uninstalled webhook. This includes settings, product sensitivity profiles, packaging policies, order evaluations, audit events, notifications, and sessions — removed in a single atomic transaction.

Shopify compliance webhooks
The App implements all mandatory Shopify data privacy webhooks:
- customers/data_request — responds with stored data (evaluation records referencing the customer's orders)
- customers/redact — deletes evaluation data for the specified customer's orders
- shop/redact — deletes all merchant data (same as uninstall)
